Passionate Worshiper Dream

A few weeks ago I had a vivid dream which I believe is worth sharing.

I saw myself speaking to our church, New Life, and God gave me a revelation of how He wants to capture our hearts with His passion.  When we are in worship with other passionate worshipers, there is a spiritual heat which is produced.  As others are exposed to it, they are caught in this passion for Jesus.  I saw several in the congregation raising a hand in worship as I was speaking.  Down that same row of people several more had eyes closed and hand raised as they were encountering a living Christ in their hearts.

Then the Lord showed me another illustration:  when a kernel of popcorn has been spilled on the ground near a campfire, as the fire blazes and gets hotter that kernel explodes and pops into a popped kernel of corn.  There is so much within you, so much flavor, such a good aroma, such beauty but until it is exposed to the fire of God’s passion and pops open, it is only potential.  There is so much within you that God wants to use but it must be touched with His passion as He ignites you as a love-sick passionate worshiper.
